Meet Dr. Grace Coker

Hi, I’m Dr. Grace! I’m a naturopathic doctor (ND) and health literacy coach with a lifelong curiosity about the human body. As a kid, I showed up to every physical with a list of questions for my pediatrician, always eager to understand how things worked.

That same curious mind spent years dealing with a stubborn stomachache no one could figure out, until I saw a naturopathic doctor. Through herbs, mind-body medicine, and targeted supplements, I finally got better. And just like that, I found my passion.

I studied Human Biology and completed the pre-med track at the University of Kansas. Then I packed up my Volkswagen Beetle, hit the road with my dad, and drove across the country to Washington to earn my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University.

I am currently completing a two-year residency in primary care (NDs are licensed physicians with pharmaceutical rights in WA and operate as PCPs) and functional medicine in Seattle, WA. Each week, I spend four clinical days seeing patients. On my off day, I speak at community engagements and write for my Health Literacy Blog.

I belive you shouldn’t have to go to medical school to learn about your body. Explore my health literacy blog.
